Author Biography
The youngest of the equestrian Bullen family, Sarah spent many years successfully riding and competing ponies, hacks and hunters, but with her siblings variously representing the UK in no less than seven Olympics, in 3 Day Eventing and Dressage, she decided to change direction and to pursue a theatrical career.
Her family were somewhat mystified but when she started to land theatrical and more action roles on TV and the role of Beth in the film International Velvet they became great supporters. For five years she also found time to be PA to former hell raiser Peter O’Toole who was a particularly understanding boss.
She now lives in Hampshire with her husband and continues to narrate for charity and to host writing courses. Presently working on the sequel to this story, she loves all The Arts, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
